The burning season is upon us, but, unfortunately, fitting in your regular chimney maintenance isn’t always easy to do. We get it! Lives get busier as the holidays start to approach, and it’s not always a simple task to find a time slot that’s convenient for you. That’s why we now offer virtual assessments to our clients who are having trouble get that inspection on the books.

A virtual assessment won’t take the place of a physical inspection, as we cannot get into your chimney with video equipment or other tools, but it does offer some insight into what services you’ll likely need this fall and winter. If you’re eager to stay prepared and on top of it all, invest in this new service today!

How Does It Work?We do virtual assessments now!

Ready to get started? Here’s what we need you to do. We’ll need at least four photos to start out. The first is an outside view of the chimney, from the ground all the way up. Next, we’ll need a view from the front of the fireplace. Finally, you’ll need to allow us an inside look by snapping a couple pictures of the inside of the firebox and the flue.

These four pictures cover the basics, but the more you’d like to send the better! The higher quality pictures we have and the more we have of them, the better we’ll be able to provide an accurate analysis.

Once your pictures are taken, you’ll need to submit them through our online form. Simply attach the photos, then provide us with a little more information about yourself and some specifics on how your fireplace has been functioning lately. Once we look over the information you have provided, we’ll be able to report back with our assessment and suggestions.

What Work Is Typically Required?

So, what can you expect from our report? If you have been taking care of your fireplace and consistently investing in professional care year after year, there’s a good chance your system will be good to go! In other cases, a simple service or two will suffice to get you in good shape for the holidays ahead.

A service everyone needs from time to time is a chimney sweeping, no matter how well their system is taken care of. Creosote builds up as fires are burned in your chimney and, sooner or later, it will accumulate to dangerous levels, putting your home and family at risk. Failing to remove creosote increases your chance of experiencing chimney fires and breakdowns, so count on our team to help you out soon.

We also offer all types of repair work, like fixing cracks or restoring mortar, and we can replace various chimney parts, as needed, too. A new damper or chimney cap may be all you need to get your system running more efficiently, and these are both easy and affordable fixes to make!

No matter what your system is calling for, big or small, we can help. Trust in us to get the job done right, so you can move forward with peace of mind as you light fires throughout the holidays. We love serving the Houston area, as well as countless towns and cities surrounding it, and we’re eager to help you out soon.
